Who We Are

We believe the message of Jesus Christ is more important than our methods, that people are more important than programs and that transformation is more important than tradition. Southridge has grown and evolved in its 100+ year existence. SRC has seen God do amazing things in and through it's ministries and outreach efforts in it's 100+ year existence and we continue to believe the best is always yet to come as we help more and more people take their next steps on their faith journey.

Our Vision

Our vision is to be a church that our community can't live without. Our outreach partners both locally and globally, have experienced the our Core Value, "We Are Better Together", through the generosity and servant leadership of our people.

Our Lead Pastor

Scott & Meghan Beha

Born and raised in the Kanawha Valley of West Virginia, Pastor Scott & Meghan have spent their 15 years of ministry serving the communities they have remained called to through full time ministry at SRC. 

Pastor Scott passionately and unapologetically preaches and shares the life-changing truth of the Gospel of Jesus through his own story and the stories of people throughout the Bible. Meghan serves as the Director of Communications on staff at SRC and serves on the Worship Team.

Pastor Scott & Meghan are the proud parents of their son, Landon and daughter, Olivia. When they are not at home loving on their cats, Bert, Reese and Luna or leading SRC, they are usually on the baseball field or in the gym cheering on their kids.

Our Beliefs

We believe there is only one God and way to eternal life and His name is Jesus.

We believe Jesus Christ was fully God and fully man and because of this he was able to be the perfect sacrifice for sin.

We believe the Bible is God's Word for us and is still relevant today.

We believe sin separates us from God and, unfortunately, we are all sinners.

We believe Jesus was hung on a cross, died and laid in a tomb and raised from the dead three days later.

We believe the death of Jesus made a way for us to be free from the power of sin and the penalty of sin, which the Bible says is death.

We believe those who reject Jesus as Lord of their lives will spend eternity separated from Him.

We believe those who accept Jesus as Lord of their lives will live forever in God's new creation where Jesus will reign as King forever.

We believe that we accept Jesus as Lord ONLY by confessing our sins and putting our trust in Him as our Lord.

We believe that those who accept Jesus as Lord will be filled with the Holy Spirit who will transform them inside and out and lead them to do good works for the glory of God and the good of those around them.

We believe that you do not need to have it all together to say YES to Jesus. When you accept Jesus as your Lord & Savior, the Holy Spirit will work in and through you and convict you of things you should turn away from, relationships that need to end, habits you need to leave behind for the good, full life He has for you!
